How this compatibility list was prepared
The vehicle list for the OBDPROG Codify Monster 501 was compiled from the manufacturer's own vehicle-coverage spreadsheets (the EU, USA and FULL packages). These contain identical files, so WhatCarTool shows one combined list, with no separate EU, USA or FULL versions. All listed functions are included in the device price.
The manufacturer's data was matched to the WhatCarTool vehicle database. Model years follow the manufacturer's data: an open-ended year ("2010-") is applied until the end of production of that generation, including facelifts, and a year with a minus sign ("-2007") is applied to that specific facelift up to the stated year. Where the manufacturer gives no model year, the vehicle is listed at model level and marked "Model year not specified by OBDPROG – check before buying".
Some vehicles are listed in the manufacturer's files under a different brand or name than the one WhatCarTool uses, for example some vans appear under Fiat. These entries carry a note stating how OBDPROG lists them. A few vehicles from the manufacturer's files could not be matched to a model in our database and are not shown here, so a missing vehicle does not necessarily mean it is unsupported. Please check with the manufacturer before buying.
